Editing Wiki Pages

You can edit and collaboratively work on this page without having to go into the dashboard administrative view by using the tabs in the wiki toolbar above

menu bar
The Wiki editing toolbar

The EDIT tab takes you to a visual and text editor where you can make changes to the content. This is the primary way you will author content on the page.

The ADVANCED tab will allow you to make more sophisticated edits using the WordPress dashboard.

Don’t forget to SAVE at the bottom of the page when you’re done making edits.

Group Communication

Use the DISCUSSION tab to leave notes and talk with each other about the direction of the page. We will review this page when grading, so please use it to discuss your progress and ideas, rather than email or other methods of communication.

On the HISTORY tab you can see each iteration of the content, compare previous versions of the page, and restore an older one if you want to roll back later changes.

You can leave comments to each other on this tab. Like this:

Hey, I really like how the section on the monastery is coming along. Do you think we should include a bit about the earlier wooden buildings?
